About the Photographer:
Dom Screnci Ed.D. is the Director of the Educational Media Center at Boston University School of Medicine. Domenic has been "imagineering" in the photographic, video and now digital worlds for eighteen years. A disciple of visual literacy, Domenic strongly believes the practice of the art and science of photography can play an important role in the development of an individual’s ability to observe, learn and understand both the human and technical world around us. Domenic believes that the practice of photography can be used as a metaphor in which one can learn to focus on and develop solutions to problems by seeing, analyzing and carefully choosing their approach, always keeping in perspective that there is more than one interpretation and solution for any given scene or problem.
